Hi everybody! My name is Manya and I am a Netherlands based painter inspired by nature. I work both in The Netherlands and on Bali. I prefer to paint or sketch on location resulting in sketchy oil paintings, water colors or just simple sketches. After returning to my “base” I retouch oil paintings, based on memory. Sometimes I use sketches as an inspiration for bigger work. These sketches help me creating oil paintings, remembering the colors, which sometimes results in surprising images.
